Conscious Connected Breathwork sessions in Vienna, led by Sarah Vobr
Sarah Vobr's practice in Vienna begins with a personal reckoning. After her father's illness and death in 2017, years of suppressed pain surfaced, and she says no distance travelled could outrun it. She had spent much of her twenties abroad, cooking in Italy, diving in Thailand, meditating in India and surfing in Bali, and she worked in gastronomy as a cheese and wine specialist. She chose to live sober, and that choice led her away from restaurants toward meditation and, finally, Conscious Connected Breathwork.
Since 2019 she has studied with breathwork teachers in India, Austria, Italy and Bali, and she now counts more than 1000 hours as a practitioner. She is also a diploma-trained mindfulness teacher. She states plainly that she is no fan of good-vibes-only.
The method is a circulating, connected breath that she describes as linking conscious and subconscious mind. A session runs 60 to 75 minutes. It combines the breathing with music that is partly activating and partly calming, a long relaxation phase, essential oils, her guidance and somatic bodywork. Feelings and memories may surface, to be met at the participant's own pace.
She works one-to-one in Vienna and leads the Return to the Body series, four Wednesday evenings capped at six participants, next running 21 October to 11 November 2026. Regular group sessions take place at PAUSED in Vienna's 1080 district, limited to ten people. The current schedule includes a Full Moon evening with cacao, a beginner session and a session combining breathwork with somatics. She also gives workshops, retreats and corporate talks on breathwork, mindfulness and longevity.
